With over 25 years in the fitness industry, my journey began at 18 with an HND in Fitness & Health and I’ve been pushing boundaries ever since. From earning multiple industry qualifications to currently preparing for my UK Strength & Conditioning exam, I’m committed to relentless growth – constant elevation – for both myself and my clients.
Rooted in sport, my path took an unexpected turn after an injury, but that setback became my greatest opportunity. I embraced the fitness industry and fell in love with it, building a thriving personal training business with a packed client roster, delivering 40+ hours of coaching per week for years. But one-on-one coaching was just the start. After years of developing my knowledge I stepped into the world of sports teams, where I discovered a deeper passion – coaching in a dynamic group setting. The energy of 20-30 people pushing limits together was untouchable!
Helping others reach their goals fuels me, but I also crave my own challenges. CrossFit competitions first ignited that fire, but I wanted more. Over the last 15 years, I’ve taken on annual endurance feats that force me beyond my comfort zone of power and strength. From cycling London to Barcelona in 10 days, completing a 24-hour Everesting, and conquering the 72-hour Three Peaks Cycle – to triathlons, an Ironman and even stepping into the boxing ring – all whilst maintaining a 200kg back squat! I don’t just coach resilience, I live it.
This relentless pursuit of strength, endurance, and coaching excellence led me to develop my own group training method: FLY.
FLY is about the freedom to go anywhere, do anything, and push limits beyond expectation. Learn to FLY.

This insight allows her to connect with members at every stage of their journey, offering guidance and encouragement to help them succeed.
At FLY , Robyn is committed to creating a vibrant, supportive space where every session inspires growth, progress, and a stronger, more confident you.
With a qualification in Sports nutrition and Supplementation, and as a certified personal trainer, I have over 8 years of experience coaching clients with a variety of focuses, including body composition, general wellbeing, and athletes with specific goals relating to sports performance.
My background in competitive sport has shaped my approach to fitness, where I firmly believe that the development of physical strength, and mental resilience go hand in hand. Whether you are working towards improved athletic performance, or simply seeking to feel stronger, and more confident in everyday life, building physical strength without doubt leads to a deeper sense of inner confidence and empowerment. The ability to feel powerful – inside and out – has a transformative effect on day to day life, and from experience I have seen first hand that it helps individuals take on life with a new sense of strength, energy and self-assurance.
I learned about The Fly Ethos in 2021, which massively aligns with my values. The structured programming not only provides a clear roadmap, but it breaks down larger, sometimes overwhelming goals, into smaller more manageable tasks. It sets clear milestones, helping you track progress, and boosts motivation by making each step feel achievable. With experience coaching in various gyms, I can say without hesitation that the Fly Community is second to none. The feeling of connection and sense of belonging provides not only unwavering support, but it helps keep both members, and coaches stay focused, accountable and develop a strong “I can” mindset. There is nowhere else like it!

Diane’s coaching journey began in an educational capacity before becoming a qualified Scottish Cycling coaching 2020 and coaches children at a local bike club. She went on to complete a postgraduate certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in 2022, before qualifying as a Level 3 personal trainer in January 2024.
Diane feels exercise has been ingrained in her life since a young age when she was an active member of an athletics club and played netball through school and university.
Diane is an advocate of taking responsibility for our own health and wellbeing, she believes exercise and sensible eating are key factors in this.
She values;
– the importance of finding the fun in exercise;
– how important stepping outside the comfort zone is to promoting physical and mental growth;
– the acknowledgment that life is always more manageable after a workout.
Diane’s family are all involved in sport, she and her husband enjoy strength training, running and cycling, while her 3 boys partake in cycling, football and rugby. She therefore, also enjoys watching sport and admits to being a ‘passionate’ sideline mum, who encourages her boys to reflect on their events and identify areas where growth is required.
Fiona has worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer for 10 years and has spent the past decade working in a variety of gyms and with a wide range of clients, developing a solid base of knowledge and experience. For the past 5 years she has worked predominantly with women, helping them focus on fat loss and physique goals, whilst promoting a healthy, sustainable, and enjoyable approach to diet and exercise. She knows, by the life-changing results she has helped her clients achieve, that having performance-based goals leaves such a rewarding and lasting impact, both mentally and physically, rather than solely focusing on scales and appearance.
Fiona was a member at Fly for years before joining the coaching team, where she has been able to develop her passion for coaching strength and conditioning as well Pilates and bringing both disciplines together to help others improve their performance, recovery, and longevity in sport.
Fiona believes you can achieve anything with the right plan, amazing support, and some hard work – all of which can be found at Fly!
Blair’s experience at FLY first began as a member, attending classes to reignite his training following a plateau after a long period of training by himself at a commercial gym.

Whilst still undertaking his level 3 PT diploma, Blair is utilising sharing coaching experiences with the FLY coaches to better improve his own coaching/professional practice.
Throughout his life, Blair has always been active through being a consistent trainer in a gym environment, as well as a keen rugby player.
Blair values the importance of progressive overload and consistency when training and coaching at FLY.
Stevie coaches just as he would train himself – loud tunes, big energy, friendly atmosphere and always encouraging constant improvement.
Initially becoming a member in early 2020, the FLY ‘Future-Proof’ philosophy has encouraged Stevie to continue to explore his passion for training, coaching & self development. Heavily involved in the health & fitness space for many years – firstly becoming a fitness instructor in 2017 and starting his journey as a personal trainer in 2019 – Stevie has continuously invested in his education, attending various courses, working with performance coaches & mentors in the interests of better understanding body mechanics, human performance, and improving mindset.
Stevie grew up playing sports regularly, and has drawn from family influence to continually improve his health & wellbeing. Whether its running, cycling, skiing or other athletic sports, Stevie has done it and strives to give maximum effort in all areas of fitness. Stevie’s coaching mantra goes hand in hand with his own training style – continually pushing to move and perform better, with a thunderous atmosphere and energy.
Stevie believes that being able to move well and be functional is a privilege and everyone should invest in their own health & fitness journey. Regularly competing in fitness events and participating in various physical & mental toughness challenges, Stevie strongly believes in training with a smile, being part of a loud and proud community who share goals to inspire one another, and finding a way to progress no matter what. For Stevie, movement is medicine and can help you build the rhino skin that will serve you in any walk of life.
Stevie hails from a family of fitness enthusiasts where regular exercise has always been a staple part of living. His grandfathers, father and brothers all participate in a range of sports and training stimuli including Running, Swimming, Cycling, Boxing, and Strength Training. This has been a healthy learning environment, and has also encouraged coaching and leadership towards others. His daughter is an aspiring young footballer, full of energy and has grown to learn the importance of movement, teamwork, and never giving up – becoming more confident, resilient and goal orientated as a result.
